Indian Cricket Team recently have beaten Sri Lanka in the Nagpur Test by an Inning and 239 Odd runs.

One of the great former Indian Test Skipper Sunil Gavaskar claimed that the present Indian Squad is well balanced. He said the Indian Team can win their first ever Test series in South Africa which is going to start from Jan 5.

Indian brigade is fully prepared and all set to take up the upcoming series as a challenge, He confidently said that the current Indian Cricket Team led by the most energetic skipper till date has done well in all departments.

When asked to talk about the past Indian test teams and compare to the current Team India. So called Cricket Pandit Gavaskar ‘concluded by saying. ‘I personally do not compare the current setup and teams with past as its very difficult to compare. Totally depends on several factors like playing conditions, opposition you are playing against most important balance of the overall team and overall environment of the team on and off the field. Where The Current Indian Cricket Team stands above all compared to the past we had.

Gavaskar Spoke to NDTV

On Speaking to NDTV , Gavaskar said ‘India is firing on all departments. It’s batting is balanced at the top. The bowling has got a sharp edge to it and the fielding is outstanding. I believe India can beat South Africa to win the series for the first time in South Africa. The crucial thing they are peaking at the right time. So I am hopeful that this time India will put one across the Proteas.”
